The Tera Yaar Hoon Main soundtrack brings together composers Payal Dev, Aditya Dev, Meet Bros, Sanjeev-Darshan and Anand Raj Anand, with lyricists including Kunaal Vermaa, Kumaar, I. Kumar and Anand Raj Anand. Director Milap Milan Zaveri’s romantic drama, starring Aman Indra Kumar and Akanksha Sharma alongside Paresh Rawal, uses the music to balance romance, friendship, family relationships and lighter moments. The vocal lineup includes Sachet Tandon, Payal Dev, Jubin Nautiyal, Nakash Aziz, Meet Bros, Khushboo Grewal, Piyush Mehroliyaa, Udit Narayan and Aditya Narayan, giving the six-track album a broad commercial sound.
Compositionally, the album leans toward accessible romantic melodies, dance-oriented arrangements and nostalgic Hindi-film sounds. The title track is deliberately reminiscent of the melodic love songs of the 1990s, with Payal Dev and Aditya Dev creating a straightforward romantic arrangement around Kunaal Vermaa’s lyrics. “Tum Hi Se Pyaar” continues that melodic approach, while “Friend Friend” adds Punjabi-flavored dance energy. “Maine Dil Tujhko Diya” brings a more traditional romantic-pop sound, “Ladki Ke Daddy” adds a playful family-oriented number, and “Hai Mere Bappa” introduces a devotional element.
The vocal performances provide plenty of variety across the soundtrack. Sachet Tandon and Payal Dev give the title song a smooth romantic character, while Jubin Nautiyal brings his familiar warmth and controlled delivery to “Tum Hi Se Pyaar.” Nakash Aziz adds energy to “Maine Dil Tujhko Diya,” while Meet Bros, Khushboo Grewal and Piyush Mehroliyaa bring a livelier, performance-driven quality to “Friend Friend.” Udit Narayan and Aditya Narayan provide a playful father-son vocal combination on “Ladki Ke Daddy,” while the ensemble on “Hai Mere Bappa” shifts the album toward a devotional mood.
Overall, Tera Yaar Hoon Main is an accessible soundtrack built around romance, nostalgia, friendship and family themes. The title track and “Tum Hi Se Pyaar” provide the album’s strongest melodic identity, while “Friend Friend” and “Ladki Ke Daddy” add lighter, more energetic moments. The variety of composers and styles keeps the six songs moving, although the soundtrack does not always develop a particularly distinctive musical identity of its own. Rating: 5/10.
