The Toxic soundtrack brings together a diverse music team led by composers Vishal Mishra, Ravi Basrur, Tanishk Bagchi, Arslan Nizami and Faheem Abdullah. The album supports Geetu Mohandas’s action drama starring Yash, with Kiara Advani, Nayanthara and Huma Qureshi among the principal cast. The collaboration also features lyricists such as Raj Shekhar, Kaushal Kishore, Hanita Bhambri, Arslan Nizami and Syed Murad Gilani, along with singers including Vishal Mishra, Siddharth Basrur, Jonita Gandhi, Hanita Bhambri, Santhosh Venky and Airaa Udupi.

Compositionally, Toxic moves between soulful romance, contemporary pop, atmospheric soundscapes and dramatic cinematic themes. “Madhosh” combines Tanishk Bagchi, Arslan Nizami and Faheem Abdullah’s production with lyrics by Arslan Nizami and Syed Murad Gilani, while Vishal Mishra gives songs such as “Tabaahi,” “Waqt” and “Chingariyaan” a more melodic identity. “Toxic,” written by Hanita Bhambri, brings an English-language contemporary edge, while Ravi Basrur’s themes add a heavier cinematic dimension.

The vocal performances are one of the album’s strengths. Siddharth Basrur brings intensity to “Madhosh,” Vishal Mishra delivers the emotional core of “Tabaahi” and “Waqt,” and Jonita Gandhi adds a polished contrast to “Chingariyaan.” Hanita Bhambri’s performance on “Toxic” gives the soundtrack an unusual English-language personality, while the ensemble vocals on “His Aura Hits You” and the atmospheric performances on the two theme tracks broaden the album’s sonic palette.

Overall, Toxic is an ambitious soundtrack that balances romantic melodies with darker, cinematic and experimental elements. “Madhosh,” “Tabaahi” and “Waqt” provide the strongest melodic moments, while Ravi Basrur’s themes help establish the film’s larger-scale atmosphere. The variety is appealing, although the involvement of several composers gives the album a somewhat uneven identity. Rating: 6/10.
