The soundtrack for Ahmed Khan’s massive ensemble comedy Welcome to the Jungle (2026) leans entirely into chaotic, multi-composer energy, functioning more as a high-octane mixtape than a traditional cinematic score. Amidst the noisy, frantic festival beats that dominate the album, “Kyun” emerges as a surprisingly slick and refreshing outlier. Handled by the breakout indie-pop sensation Talwiinder alongside producer NDS, the track brings a smooth, mood-drenched contemporary R&B and synth-pop texture that beautifully grounds the project’s urban sensibilities. On the opposite end of the spectrum is “Ucha Lamba Kad Forever,” a hyper-energetic, maximalist callback that taps directly into late-2000s Bollywood nostalgia. Composed by Anand Raaj Anand and Vikram Montrose, this high-spirited reimagining retains the iconic hook of the original Welcome (2007) hit while supercharging it with booming digital dhol arrangements, aggressive brass lines, and a playful vocal exchange between Anand Raj Anand, Rubai, and Meggha Bali.
