The 2021 Hindi film Squad, directed by Nilesh Sahay, featured a soundtrack composed by a range of artists including Sonal Pradhan. In contrast to its critically panned reception, the film’s music was designed to be energetic and action-oriented to align with its theme. The music is a backdrop to the storyline about a retired soldier protecting the daughter of a slain scientist. The soundtrack fits the film’s attitude but it is repetitive and uninspired.
